Starting from a small-scale operation in the early days, Phu Cuong has continuously expanded its production capacity, upgraded its equipment systems, and improved its quality management processes. Currently, the company operates two separate factories—one dedicated to mold manufacturing and the other specialized in plastic injection molding—both managed by a team of highly skilled technicians and supported by modern machinery.

Advanced Mold Manufacturing Capability

Phu Cuong Plastic operates a dedicated mold manufacturing workshop equipped with modern machinery and experienced engineers. Our mold-making system is designed to ensure high precision, durability, and production efficiency for every project.

We provide custom mold design and manufacturing services tailored to the specific requirements of each product. Our technical team supports various mold structures, including:

  • Single-cavity molds

  • Multi-cavity molds

  • Unscrewing molds

  • Two-plate molds

  • Three-plate molds

Depending on technical requirements and customer budgets, we utilize high-quality mold steels such as S50C, P20, 2738, SKD11, and H13, ensuring optimal mold performance and long service life.

With optimized engineering processes and experienced technicians, the mold manufacturing lead time can be reduced to 10–20 days depending on product complexity, while ensuring mold durability of over 100,000 injection cycles.


Main Machining Equipment

To ensure precision and reliability, Phu Cuong Plastic is equipped with a comprehensive set of mold machining equipment:

CNC Milling Machines (3-axis & 4-axis)
High-precision machining for steel mold components with tolerances within ±0.01 mm, ensuring accurate mold structures and surface quality.

Wire EDM Machines
Used to produce complex slots, ribs, and detailed mold components requiring high precision.

EDM – Electric Discharge Machines
Ideal for machining deep cavities and difficult-to-access areas in mold cores and inserts.

Surface Grinding & Cylindrical Grinding Machines
Provide excellent flatness and surface finish, improving the final appearance and quality of molded plastic parts.

Drilling Machines & Radial Drilling Machines
Used for machining cooling channels, venting holes, and mold gate structures.

Our quality inspection system uses high-precision Mitutoyo measuring instruments, ensuring reliable measurement results and consistent mold quality throughout the manufacturing process.

Injection Molding Capability

We process a wide range of plastic materials, including:

PP, ABS, PA, PC, PMMA, POM, PS, PE, TPE, and other engineering plastics.

Our production system is capable of manufacturing products that require:

  • Thick wall structures

Quality Control Process (QC)

Ensuring Consistent Product Quality

Quality inspection is conducted throughout the production process using professional measuring equipment, including:

  • Micrometers, vernier calipers, dial indicators, and height gauges for dimensional inspection

  • For technical components: inspection of concentricity, parallelism, and shrinkage

  • Ability to provide sample testing, measurement reports, and mechanical performance testing

Inspection procedures include first-piece inspection, in-process inspection, and final inspection, with both random sampling and full inspection depending on customer requirements.


Commitment

Defect rate of finished products is maintained at less than 0.5%, and every production batch is inspected before shipment to ensure consistent quality and customer satisfaction.
